Thank you! I bought a seriously ridiculously large chest of alcohol markers. You just reminded me that I can use mixed media, Bristol and card stick. I was strong in nit buying markers until I saw the red metal chest of 160 alcohol markers. I lost my composure and bought them. I then found you so thanks for posting !

I have a specific art style that I have been using for comics and just art pieces but my RUclips channel is full of all these different art styles. But I’d say, if you like more than one style, draw them!

I followed along (pausing multiple times) to make notes on my swatching chart. This will save me some $ for sure. I was wondering about the florescent category, too. I'm betting FRV is the same shade as the bright pink color you reviewed! There are bound to be others.

Hi Amanda I have been using Toned Tan sketch paper from Strathmore (24 sheets). But some how I seem to get disappointed after finishing a picture with Copic markers. I would like you to suggest me a paper which is smooth ,blends well without leaving any lined markings and can be used with different coloured markers side by side. After listening to your video about different types of papers for Copic markers I feel that Artists Marker Paper from Bee Paper Company is good enough.Please suggest.

My b04 and b05 were identical when i got them. Sometimes I think some of the alcohol evaporates making lighter shades darker. I just added 0 to my b04 until I could see a difference in it. I did that to several markers like yg06 and 07.

Honestly I can barely tell the difference . I think for beginners or hobbyists either set will be good.

I have the WN Cotman 48and recently removed all the cadmium pans ..dont want any cadmium in my paints.

I think they are pronounced Ohuhu like how they're spelt

Oof, I feel you on the nails x'D Mine are super fragile too, so I empathize. I just recently had to cut my right thumb nail since it has a habit of breaking way too far in, so I spend as long as I can trying to make it last since I can't cut that far in, before inevitably I have to chop ;o; That really sucks to hear that Etsy's payment system is such a pain to set up. For such a big company, like, that should be the easiest thing x/ But CONGRATS again on the proposal!! That's so exciting x3 And I feel you on the burnt-out aspect of content creation. It feels like every year gets harder and harder. I've seen a lot of fellow creators just want to quit this year, which I was actually leaning towards myself, but I got some random newfound spark of wanting to try, but do things more my way than the algorithm way this time. We'll see how I handle things this year. Not sure what that means for the future, but, well, adventure, haha.

Shop anniversary! Yeah! Happy to see you still active with everything, despite everyday stress and setbacks. Very happy to see it~ looking forward to new creations~ But also, the AT&T internet....AT&T internet has been nothing but trouble for us here in the south. Constant outages, damages to unprotected lines, running slower than advertised, and paying more money than it was worth. We were finally able to ditch it, because having to fight with AT&T's customer service is the worst part of it. From experience, you get hung up on at least three times just for trying to schedule a service call. Like, how are they not aware of an outage? Such a mess lol

Oh God the internet thing is so frustrating.. We had it a while back as well, and you only realize how dependend you are once you lose it :') Is there any form of reimbursement, since you cannot work (and therefore can't earn money), or is this not a thing in the US? And congrats on the 2 year anniversary! ;D

Hi there. I am a small shop owner myself. I don’t think there is anything wrong with being on Etsy and having your own site. Get Etsy customers to sign up to your newsletter & convert them that way. Letting them know the savings is bigger when shopping direct. This is what I did and I got a big increase on my own site. However, I ended up switching things up after getting good traffic bc I realized that the plug in needed to calculate the remittance sales tax was expensive. Then to file those sales taxes (either Monthly or Quarterly) in every state of transaction, through that plug in app was super expensive. Or to hire a company to use the plug in app info to file it was still costly. And there was no way I could do that kind of math myself. Look into economic nexus, it’s nuts! So paying Etsy fees and they manage all the sales tax and remittances is so worth the fees and peace of mind to be in good standing with my taxes. I ended up trying Etsy Pattern where they will convert your Etsy shop into a stand alone shop with its own url. So now my website redirects to that site just for the shopping/e-commerce portion. This way, Etsy still manages those taxes. I’m not sure if I will stick with this plan but am giving it a test now. Or at least until I can figure out a more cost effective way to manage, calculate and remit my sales tax. Overall, sounds like a good game plan. I’m sure you will see much success and improvement with your business in this new year. ✌🏼

I feel that in-person events burn out so hard xD That was why I stopped doing cons. It got to be too much. So I feel you there, haha. I don't think it's negative to reevaluate things. You can't stay the same forever, you gotta experiment and see what works and what doesn't. Oil based markers work better on less absorbant paper. Some really won't layer light over dark, it's odd.

Those pop-up events look so fun! Shame I wasn't able to go to one before we moved, but your set up always looks great! And I love that candle :O Great gift idea! I love that it's in a ceramic bowl, that's so unique and smart :)

didn't comment on the previous videos because I'm hella busy, but wanted to say I really enjoyed them! I might try to do a pop-up with my mom (to share the costs) and the tips will help me out a lot! I actually got a new printer yesterday: The epson eco-tank ;) By coincidence. I haven't used it much yet but already am very happy that i do not need those expensive cartiges anymore. My rather not are also social media! especially lately with the low reach. I also kinda dislike product picture taking? I'm like.. really bad at it so I'd rather not be confronted about it hahaha

No matter how far we advance technologically, printers always seem to give us trouble and headaches x'D But I'm glad you have a bit of time off before events again. I know they can be crazy draining for sure. Get lots of rest! <3

When I first saw this video forever ago, it inspired me to pick up some paper sheets from Michaels for a back drop x'D It's super thin paper, but works out just fine for what I need. Love this idea, so glad you shared it! :D
